Football Italy: Raffaele Conte looks set to succeed Roberto Mancini

Football Italians will get to see the Italian coach on Wednesday at the Aviva Stadium as Conte meets his former Juventus boss.

The former Juventus coach is already in line for the vacant post of Italian national coach and the meeting with Conte is set to take place in the coming days.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte will arrive at the stadium for the meeting, which is being held in the offices of the Italian Football Federation.

The meeting will be held in his office.

Conte has been linked with the position and the coach is expected to receive a warm reception from the assembled crowd.

The 49-year-old has been the most successful Italian coach in the modern era, winning two European Cups, two Serie A titles and one Champions League.
